Nivel de conocimiento y cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en madres de niños menores de 5 años que acuden al Centro de Salud el Álamo, Callao, 2013

Abstract

El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo - correlacional, corte transversal, diseño no experimental, se utilizó el muestreo aleatorio simple, se contó con una muestra de 66 madres, los resultados fueron el 46,97% (31) de madres tienen nivel de conocimiento bajo y 36,36 (24) tiene nivel de conocimiento alto .

The study was descriptiva - correlational, cross-sectional, non- experimental design, simple random sampling was used, it hada sample of 66 mothers, the results were 46.97% (31) of mothers have knowledge leve! low and 36.36 (24) has high leve! of knowledge about compliance with the vaccination schedule 53.03% (35) of mothers met while 46.97% (31) met Regarding the level of knowledge and compliance mothers 25.76% (17) have observad high level of knowledge and meets the vaccination of their children, and 31.81% (21) of a level of mothers low knowledge and do not meet the vaccination of their children. Concluding that mothers present ignorance of vaccination and its importance in the prevention of vaccine preventable diseases.
