En las empresas del sector distribución se presentan la mayor cantidad de accidentes laborales. En el período 2007-2010 han ocurrido 378 accidentes que representan el 76% entre las empresas de distribución. Los accidentes son recurrentes principalmente en las actividades que realizan sus trabajadores en sus labores de mantenimiento y operación de sus instalaciones, tanto en redes de baja y media tensión con o sin energía. In the companies in the distribution sector is presentad the greatest amount of accidents at work. In the period 2007-201 O have occurred 378 accidents which account for 76% among enterprises of distributions Accidents are recurrent mainly in the activities performed by their workers in their maintenance work and operation of their facilities at both networks of low and medium tension with · or without energy. The causes of these accidents are due to conditions sub standards of facilities, the lack or inadequate personal protective equipment, non-existent or working procedures updated. The management models for the prevention· of accidents used have not
functioned adequately having maintained accident rates. These models have, worked regardless of the quality of the work and the environmental impacts that are generated by the distribution activities.
