Eficacia de un taller educativo en el nivel de conocimientos sobre primeros auxilios en accidentes escolares en los docentes de la Institución Educativa Virgen del Carmen San Juan de Lurigancho - Febrero 2011

Abstract

En el mundo cada año mueren miles de personas por desconocimiento de las maniobras frente a una emergencia o lo que es peor, por aplicarlas mal, basadas en ideas erróneas o falta de práctica. Los accidentes son la más importante causa de mortalidad y morbilidad infantil, la mayoría de las lesiones y muertes de accidentes se producen en el hogar y en el colegio. Es así, que el escolar cuando sufre un accidente, su bienestar dependerá de los primeros auxilios que le brinde el profesor, hasta que llegue la ayuda especializada.

In the world every year thousands of persons die for ignorance of the maneuvers opposite to an emergency or what is worse, for evil applying them, based on erroneous ideas or lack of practica. The accidents are the most important reason of mortality and infantile morbidity, the majority of the injuries and deaths for accidents take place in the home and in the college. lt is like that, that the student when it has an accident, his well-being will depend on the first aids that the teacher offers to him, until the specialized help comes. During the accomplishment of the pre-professional practicas at community health one was employed with Educational lnstitutions as May, two, Cesar Vallejo and General Prado, identifying deficit in the knowledge on the first aids in wounds, hemorrhages, traumatism and fainting fits in the teachers, hereby there was evaluated the need to increase this · knowledge, by means of the application of an educational workshop, which guarantees the process of education - learning.
